Xbox details its Gamescom 2026 programme

Microsoft will be in Cologne, Germany from 26 to 30 August for Gamescom 2026, and has now outlined what it is bringing.

The company is promising a large hands-on area covering first-party and partner titles, a dedicated handheld zone, and a pre-show broadcast for anyone who cannot attend. Xbox Game Pass has its own stage segment, which is usually where the release-date announcements land.

Gamescom has become the most important consumer show on the calendar, and Xbox's presence there has grown every year while other publishers have scaled back. We will be covering it.
